We Are Aligned With the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The Foundation is committed to the comprehensive development of Mozambique, promoting inclusive economic progress, social advancement, and sustainable growth. People are at the center of this process and benefit directly from its outcomes. We aim to contribute to the lasting prosperity of the country, its institutions, and its communities.
Guided by the principles of sustainable development, we act to meet current needs without compromising future generations. This includes supporting quality education, advancing gender equality, fostering innovation and decent work, and strengthening institutional partnerships.
We recognize that equitable access to education, economic opportunity, and civic participation are essential for sustainable development. Our initiatives support inclusive learning environments, promote the empowerment of women and girls, and stimulate entrepreneurship and job creation—particularly among youth.
Our mission is aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda, as outlined in Resolution A/RES/70/1 adopted by the General Assembly on 25 September 2015. This global plan defines seventeen universal goals to advance sustainable development worldwide.
