The Foundation aims to contribute to the development of Mozambique. By development, we mean the multidimensional process, centered on poverty eradication and social progress, with people as the main recipients of the benefits of this process as its central element. Thus, the Foundation intends to contribute to the growth, progress and advancement of Mozambique, its organizations and institutions in a sustainable manner. Furthermore, the Foundation’s activities will be guided by the promotion and operationalization of social responses that promote sustainable development, that is, the search for meeting the needs of the current generation, without compromising the ability of future generations to satisfy their own needs. Sustainable development means enabling people, now and in the future, to achieve a satisfactory level of social and economic development and human and cultural achievement, while making reasonable use of the earth’s resources and preserving species and natural habitats.
