We Are Aligned With The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s)

The Foundation is dedicated to fostering the comprehensive development of Mozambique. Our commitment extends beyond mere economic progress; we focus on poverty eradication, social advancement, and sustainable growth. People are at the heart of this process, benefiting as the primary recipients of its outcomes. Our aim is to contribute to the enduring prosperity and progress of Mozambique, its institutions, and organizations. Guided by the principles of sustainable development, we strive to address current needs without compromising the well-being of future generations. This involves facilitating social and economic development, preserving cultural achievements, and responsibly managing the Earth’s resources to maintain ecological balance.

The Foundation’s mission aligns with the United Nations Agenda 2030 and its Sustainable Development Goals, as outlined in Resolution No. A/RES/70/1, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on September 25, 2015 (referred to as the ‘UN Agenda 2030’). This agenda serves as a comprehensive action plan for communities, the planet, and prosperity, featuring seventeen universal objectives that underscore the global commitment to sustainable development. Specifically, our Foundation will actively pursue initiatives contributing to the achievement of the following Sustainable Development Goals:
